EcoTraining is a conservation and training organisation dedicated to preserving the world’s wilderness areas. With humble beginnings in the early 1990s in Southern Africa, Ecotraining Australia was formed in 2007 with a bush camp in the Northern Territory on the border of Kakadu National Park.
Australia’s natural environment is one of the most diverse on earth: from the marine spectacle of its coastal reefs; the prolific birdlife of the floodplains of the Top End; the extraordinary life in the deserts of the world’s driest continent; to the world’s oldest surviving indigenous culture. At EcoTraining Australia our mission is to develop the most professional nature guides in Australia to support the country’s attraction as one of the world’s top ecotourism destinations. EcoTraining Australia will also offer specialist nature based courses for visitors wanting something more from their holiday.
With our sister company, EcoTraining South Africa www.ecotraining.co.za, we have brought their experience in African guide training into an Australian context to provide the most professional and comprehensive nature based courses in the country.
EcoTraining is the pioneer and leader of practical wildlife and nature-based training programs in Southern Africa.
