Youth Leadership

Ecotraining Australia has combined with a number of Indigenous youth leadership programs around Australia to provide confidence boosting and self empowerment training weeks.

The purpose of these training weeks is to provide an educational and enjoyable environment that fosters independence and self belief for future Indigenous leaders.

Being a training organisation at core, we are fully aware of the importance of education and mentoring through all phases of life. That is why we have thrown our full support behind these fantastic programs- sharing our experiences and knowledge in our remote training facility around Australia.

With a combination of indoor tutorials and daily guided tours of our surrounding ecosystems, we provide a variety of teamwork and leadership opportunities to help develop communication skills, resilience and other essential leadership skills.

Living in our remote bush setting also exposes the students to new ideas, concepts and a way of life they may never have experienced before. And it is these sustainable, long term skills that can be taken back to their communities, thereby benefiting the wider Australian community as a whole.
